NOTE: The default available widgets are Formatting, Media, and Widgets. Charts and Individual Quotes are only available if you have saved charts and quotes in the existing project.
Formatting
Formatting is used to structure your Dashboard. It has the following key elements.
The Header is composed of bigger fonts, usually you use this to add titles to different sections of your dashboard.
The Subheader is a smaller font that can be used as a description for your elements.
The Text box is used anywhere in the dashboard you want to add text fields to describe more in-depth.
The Section Break is used if you are designing your dashboard as a document/word file. Use this if you want to split your dashboard into pages.
There are also options to further customize any text, including changing font size, as well as bold, italics, and underline.

Media
The media section consists of File and Image. This allows you to upload images (PNG, JPEG) and files (PDF only). Now, you can share your images from your community work or monitoring forms, or annual reports through the dashboard to bring your narrative and impact to life.

Widgets
If you have funding information in the software, then you will see Grant Overview, Grantee Overview, Grant Map, Grantee Map available for dashboards.
Grant Overview, Grantee Overview, Grant Map, and Grantee Map display your grant and grantee data and global map from your Summary page. When used as an element, it will look like the sample data below.
Grant and Grantee Funding shows your funding data by Type, Issue, and Country. It will also show funding data by Regions and Countries. If your data has Populations, Issues, Portfolios, and Strategies, then this is also displayed on the dashboard.
For all users, especially if you tagged your reports and surveys, Metatags and Reach Tags are available on the Dashboard.
Counters allow you to have more flexibility and type in custom data you want to show on the dashboard. It is like a Hero visual, pulling out key numbers and figures. Below is an example. You can add another cell if needed by clicking the plus sign. These are great to showcase figures on the number of people reached, key program statistics, etc.
Quotes
Quotes can be pulled to the dashboard in two ways:
First, under Widgets. When you use this, it will include all quotes in one box on the dashboard as seen below.
The other option is Individual Quotes, where you can select only a specific quote you want to pull into the dashboard.
Charts
If you have charts in the project, you can also display them on the dashboard. When you click the Chart widget, it will list all of the charts you have already created in that project (as in the sample below).
Just drag the chart you want to include in the dashboard. Click the settings if you want to use the Chart Title and the AI Insights (If you have AI Insights activated on your account).
This is what it looks like if you toggle on the options. When the chart title is shown, you have the option to place it in the center, left, or right. You can also choose the font style (H1 to H6). For the AI Insights, you can opt to place top, right, left, or bottom.
