If you want to learn about how many times a particular issue or change has occurred across a set of grantees then select “Grantee count.”
For example, if you want to say 8 out of our 15 grantees experienced a change in awareness of the political landscape.
If you want to learn to the total number of times an issue was highlighted, regardless of number of grantees, then select the “Total Occurrences Count” in the dropdown menu
For example, select “Total Occurrences Count” if you want to say changed awareness of the political landscape was mentioned 32 times, and was the most frequent outcome in this portfolio or project. You can also further contextualize this data by saying changed awareness of the political landscape was mentioned 32 times by 8 grantees if you wanted to combine the data from both the count and occurrences columns.
If you want to learn to the percent of grantees that mentioned a particular issue, then select “Grantee percent.”
For example, if you want to say that 53% of our grantees experienced a change in awareness of the political landscape.
If you want to learn to the percent of times that a particular issue was mentioned in comparison to other issues, then select “Occurrences percent.”
For example if you want to say, changed awareness of the political landscape was the change most frequently mentioned. 80% of all changes mentioned fell under this category.
