How can I filter data in a Survey?

Survey enables you to filter survey results, allowing you to focus on responses that are most relevant to your questions

Once your survey responses are submitted, you can filter them in the Analysis window.

You have the option to filter your survey data to a specific set of criteria, such as a specific region, country,  even a specific response in your survey. This helps you to explore your data in more depth for a certain subset of your sample.

You can do this in the Analysis view of your specific survey, by clicking the filter icon on the top left of the page. Select the question or field you'd like to filter and click Apply. You can apply a filter to each survey question.

You can add multiple filters to your search - for example, by language and submission date by pressing the + button at the end of the filter field.

Once you apply these filters, your filter results will be displayed. Your filters will also reflect data displayed in charts and tables.

The example video below displayed the data on the type of women's organization that responded to a survey. A filter was applied to show only those organizations where the 'primary issue of focus' is 'gender equality'. The filter function is useful when you want to focus on more detailed aspects of your survey data.

You can download these filtered charts or data for separate analysis. Once you apply your filters, the charts and data table will automatically update. You can also download them for separate analysis or to share in reports and publications.
