A Tag Group (Category) can house other tag groups and represent a tree-like structure for tags. It provides either contextual information or logical one, depending on how you structure the groups in your outcomes framework (like Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), for example).

When managing your tag taxonomy, you can specify a parent Tag Group to nest a particular Tag or another group. When creating or editing a Tag or Tag Group under Tags or a Report, select an appropriate tag group from the "Tag group" dropdown.
To reassign a Tag or Tag Group to another parent group, edit the item and select another Tag Group.
Tag Groups can be later used for aggregated calculations and charting.
Note: Each Tag Group name needs to be unique: duplicate Tag Groups with the same title/code are not supported.
