Sometimes in the tagging process you could end up with similar, or duplicated tags that would make more sense merged as one tag.
To merge tags, first locate the Tag you'd like to merge other tags into. To view all of your project tags, go to Tags, then Edit Tags. Click on the edit icon on a chosen tag to trigger an "Edit tag" pane.
Next, click on the icon next to the "Tag name" field. This will bring up a dropdown with an option to "Merge duplicated tags".
Clicking on "Merge duplicated tags" and "Select tags to merge..." will allow you to select tags to merge into the selected tag name.
You can select one or several tags you'd like to be merged. When read, click on merge Tags.
Next, you should see a warning letting you know how many taggings will be affected in the merge. Please note that this process is not reversible so we encourage you to review all of the applied tags in tag review first.
To complete the process, click on Merge and wait for a confirmation message and an email confirming that tags have been merged successfully. The tag list should refresh reflecting the latest hierarchy.
