How do I view all of my Grants, Grantees, or Project data on a map?

An overview of all your information in a global map

Written by Alexandra Pittman

With ImpactMapper, you can easily view all of your grants, grantee, project, or other data on a global map. The map can be filtered to disaggregate your data by country and display project and funding totals accordingly. You can easily share this map to visually show the impact of your work in your internal and external communications, by downloading it for print, display, or the web.

The map is located in the Summary section of each Analysis and  is displayed next to an overview. Simply click on the Analysis you want to look at, which automatically takes you to the Summary page.

Click directly on the map to take you to a larger format and select a country to view an overview table of all associated data. It will show your grant, grantee, or project names, funding amounts and the duration in years. Alternatively, hover over a country to view a summary of the number of associated projects and their funding amounts. The colour gradient also reflects the different number of projects per country.

You can also toggle between information to focus on Individuals or Projects, depending on the type of data you’ve added.

In this larger  map view, you can also zoom in to particular countries and regions, change your data labels, set it to a dark theme, change the map title, and download. You can download it in a few different resolutions for reports/print format, presentation/display, web/screen, or download it via custom settings.
